Biography:

Dr. Mori graduated from Applied Physics Course of Waseda University in 1965 and conducted a pioneering R & D by introducing membrane and hydrogel technologies to medical field at Toray, Terumo and W.R.Grace for 30 years. He has developed anti-thrombogenic catheters (Anthron Catheter), easily cured vascular graft (Toray Graft) and hemodialysis membrane which are widely used in hospitals. In 1995 he founded a venture company, Mebiol Inc. to develop an unborn agrotechnology Intelligent Membrane Culture (Imec) using the membrane and hydrogel technologies aiming at solution of water, soil and food related issues induced by global warming.
