Biography:
I am a young researcher in epidemiology and cancer genetics, with training in population genetics, whose work focuses on biomarkers and the molecular determinants of head and neck cancers. My academic background spans the life and earth sciences, population genetics, and molecular cancer epidemiology, providing me with a solid interdisciplinary foundation for conducting cancer research.
In addition, I am involved in training and mentoring master’s and doctoral students in the field of cancer research.
My scientific interests focus directly on cancer disparities, particularly in low- and middle- income countries, where access to early diagnosis and molecular characterization of cancers remains limited
