Biography:
Bachelor in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Brasilia (1985), master in Physics at the University of Brasilia (1988), doctorate in physics at the University of Tokyo (1992), and postdoc at Toho University (1997). Dean of the Institute of Physics (2010-2014), and at present, Full Professor at the University of Brasilia. Author of more than 120 papers, with over 1400 citations and H-factor 20. His specialty is Many-Body Theory and numerical simulations, with emphasis on the study of quasi-paricles dynamics in conducting polymers and graphene nanoribbons
