Sufeng Zhang

Biography:

Sufeng Zhang is a Professor in the Department of bioresources chemical and mateirals engineering at the Shaanxi University of Science and Technolog. She serves as Vice Chairman of Shaanxi International Science and Technology Cooperation Base Alliance, and Editorial Board member of China Pulp and Paper. Her research area focuses onge developing advanced materials from lignocellulosic biomass, and her research interest includes isolation and functionalization of bio-based nanomaterials, assembly of bio-based nanomaterials into fibres, films, aerogel, and hydrogels, additive manufacturing, wood adhesives, as well as applications in thermal management, energy storage, and environmental remediation. She has published over 200 peer-reviewed journal articles in high-impact journals, including Advanced Functional Materials, Green Chemistry, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, and Carbohydrate Polymers, etc
