Biography:

Completed doctoral course at Department of Genetic Resource Engineering, Graduate School of Bioresource and Environmental Science, Kyushu University in 2003 and Ph.D in Agricultural Science. From 2003 to 2006, she worked as Assistant Professor Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo Japan. In 2006, she joined the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST Japan) after serving as a specially appointed faculty member at Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo. Engaged in research and development in the fields of bioinformatics and genome information research. Currently, she is Deputy Director at CBBD-OIL and also senior researcher at Leading-edge Biotechnology Research Division of AIST Japan.
