Biography:

Milena Cavic holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Belgrade, Serbia and is employed at the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia. Her research focus involves investigating resistance mechanisms to chemo-, radio- and targeted therapies in the oncological setting. She serves as Co-chair of the Diagnostics Working group of the Screening&Early Detection Committee of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). Dr Milena Cavic is a coauthor of over 30 scientific publications and has served as a reviewer for many journals and as an expert evaluator of proposals in the H2020-MSCA-IF-2019 Life sciences panel.
