Biography:
Kanran Wang is a research fellow and attending doctor at Chongqing University Cancer Hospital. He obtained his PhD degree at Chongqing Medical University with distinction and was awarded with outstanding young talent scholarship to work as a visiting student in Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is particularly interested in clinical epidemiology and tries to establish the risk factors for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease especially for the life styles. He also works on optimization of diagnostic procedures for secondary hypertension like primary aldosteronism. He completed his basic science training in Huazhong University of Science and Technology and earned the bachelor degree of clinical medicine and master degree of internal medicine in Chongqing Medical University.
