Biography:
Dr. Samrawit S. Halake is a clinical oncologist working in the Oncology and Palliative Care Unit at Kampala International University Teaching Hospital. She completed her oncology residency training in Ethiopia and is licensed to practice oncology in two countries. Dr. Halake has worked in Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda, gaining experience in diverse healthcare settings across East Africa. She is actively involved in clinical research and collaborates with international oncologists to improve access to cancer care and chemotherapy services in resource-limited settings. Her interests include global oncology, cancer treatment, and palliative care.
