Biography:
J Somasekar received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from JNTUA, Andhra Pradesh in 2017, and M.Tech. degree from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) , Surathkal in 2010. He is currently working as a Professor and HOD at the CSE Department, Gopalan College of Engineering and Management, Bangalore. As a resource person, he has delivered 148 Technical Talks in the emerging technologies. He got an ALL India Rank of 43 in the GATE exam with a 98.4 percentile. He is having more than 16 years of experience in teaching and 6 years of experience in research. He has published 29 research articles in leading journals (SCI & SCOPUS indexed), and conference proceedings. His research interests include Data Science, Image processing, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics and ML for Cyber security.
