Biography:
Vani Rajashekaraiah, Professor, Department of Biotechnology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, India, obtained doctoral degree in Zoology from Bangalore University, Bengaluru in 2008. She has 16 years of teaching proficiency in Molecular Biology and Genetics, 20 years of research experience in Oxidative Stress Biology. Her current research focus is on improving blood storage solutions through antioxidant interventions. Her research achievements include 36 publications in reputed journals with 490 citations and one patent published in India in 2020. She has received CSIR research fellowship in 2002, Seed Money to Young Scientist for Research in 2013 from Government of Karnataka, India.
