Biography:
Dariusz Fydrych (PhD, DSc, IWE) is a professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, Gdańsk University of Technology, Poland. The main areas of his scientific activity are underwater welding processes and weldability of steel and other metals. His research interests also include the application of statistical methods and data mining to welding issues. He is a co-author of scientific articles (index h=17) and a reviewer of scientific works, including 6 doctoral dissertations. He is also the author of many technological studies for industry. Additionally, he actively participates in organizing conferences and is a member of the scientific boards of journals.
