Biography:
Aradhana Kasimsetty, Ph.D., obtained her Bachelor’s/Master’s in Medical Microbiology in May 2019/2020 from Arizona State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Her PhD degree in Cell and Molecular Biology (Gene Therapy and Vaccines) was conferred from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in August 2025. She is currently a postdoctoral trainee in the Translational Science Interagency Fellowship at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) under the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Her research focuses on bioprinted models of the outer retinal barrier as a model of rare disease for gene therapy applications.
