Biography:

Sefike Merizan Avci Yalcin, MD, is a physician in the Department of Histology and Embryology at the Faculty of Medicine, Mugla Sitki Kocman University, Turkiye. Her academic interests include histology, embryology, tissue regeneration, regenerative medicine, and experimental research. Her current research focuses on the histochemical and immunohistochemical evaluation of tissue regeneration and the investigation of potential therapeutic approaches for cartilage repair.
