Biography:
Dr. Akari Noda, MD, is affiliated with Department of Sensory and Motor System Medicine Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo. She is a dentist specialized in oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a strong background in oral diseases. In parallel, she has worked as a data scientist, developing and applying image recognition algorithms. By integrating her clinical and technical expertise, her research focuses on deep learning–based image analysis in oral cancer, mucosal disorders, cellular atypia, and oral hygiene assessment. Her work aims to establish novel diagnostic tools specific to the oral field, advancing interdisciplinary collaboration between dentistry and data science.
