Biography:
Dr Amy Amanfu is a dentist currently working as a Dental Core Trainee (DCT3) in Restorative Dentistry in the Midlands. She graduated in dentistry in 2023 following training in Plymouth and has since completed rotations in Oral Surgery/OMFS (DCT2, Barts Health NHS Trust) and Paediatric and Special Care Dentistry (DCT1, Barts Health NHS Trust). Her training has combined clinical practice with quality improvement and academic research. Alongside her core training, Amy is undertaking a Level 7 diploma in aesthetics and is working towards a career in Orthodontics. She is committed to broadening her clinical skillset while pursuing specialty training opportunities.
