Biography:
Seiko Jose is a scientist, working at Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Avikanagar, Rajasthan, India. He is specialized in Textile Chemistry and having more than 17 years of experience in textiles. He is having seven years of experience in the cotton, silk, and linen processing industry. In the past nine years of his research, he has handled many natural fibres like, jute, pineapple leaf fibre, coconut fibre, flax, silk, wool, ramie, etc. He contributed to 49 research articles and 14 book chapters. His major research areas are extraction and characterization of natural fibre, green chemical processing in textiles, textile dyeing and finishing, eco-friendly textile processing, nano technology and fibre composites. His Google citations are more than 1000. He published 3 books and another 3 books are in progress in the field of textiles, and composites with reputed publishers namely Wiley and Elsevier. He managed 10 industrial consultancy works in the national and international level. Currently is holding the position of Editor in 6 peer reviewed Journals.
