Title : Revolutionizing healthcare and pharma: Artificial intelligence-powered scientific communications and medical writing

Abstract:

Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) are transforming pharmaceutical research and communication. AI tools now play a crucial role in study design, data analysis, and manuscript drafting, significantly enhancing efficiency and analytical rigor. These technologies enable researchers to concentrate on higher-level conceptualization and interpretation, while also pinpointing critical knowledge gaps and identifying research questions with substantial impact.

AI-powered collaboration platforms facilitate connections between researchers across diverse domains and institutions, accelerating discovery and fostering alignment around global health priorities. AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Elicit, and Research Rabbit (to name a few), are revolutionizing literature reviews by shifting the focus from quantitative to qualitative analysis, uncovering hidden insights, and drastically reducing the time needed for manual searches.

However, the adoption of AI in pharmaceutical research comes with responsibilities. Ethical considerations such as transparency, data privacy, and human oversight must be prioritized to mitigate risks, including the potential for misinformation and loss of traditional research skills. Cybersecurity, privacy, copyright and industrial property challenges should be factored in and mitigated accordingly.
