Siraj Khan

Biography:

Siraj Khan has been honored with the prestigious title of International Best Researcher at the International Congress for Research Excellence 2024. He holds a Doctoral and MS degree in Plant Sciences from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan. Dr. Khan's extensive academic and professional journey includes serving as a Senior Scientific Officer at Qarshi Herb Research Center and Qarshi University, within Qarshi Herbal Industries (Pvt.) Ltd in Hattar, Haripur, Pakistan. His expertise spans various laboratory techniques, such as Light and Scanning Electron Microscopy, HPLC, GCMS, LCMS, CC, TLC, NMR, and Spectrophotometry. Additionally, he is proficient in microbiology, phytoremediation, DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, landscape management, orchid management, herbarium techniques, and digitalization.
Dr. Khan has made significant contributions to plant systematics, taxonomy, plant physiology, and evolution, with a focus on exploring the medicinal properties of herbs. He has published 20 research articles and actively participated in 33 international conferences and workshops. He has also organized 22 conferences, demonstrating his leadership and organizational skills within the academic community. His accolades include memberships in esteemed organizations such as the Royal Microscopical Society and the American Society for Microbiology, and he serves as a permanent reviewer for journals like "Plant Science Today" and "Microscopy Research and Technique."
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Khan has received awards such as the Merit Scholarship during his MPhil at Quaid-i-Azam University and a certificate of excellence as the best reviewer for "Chemical Science International Journal" in 2020. His research on the medicinal properties of herbs, particularly in combating cancer, and his expertise in phytoremediation, highlight his contributions to healthcare and environmental sustainability. Dr. Khan's dedication to botanical sciences and his pursuit of excellence have earned him international recognition as an exemplary researcher, making a significant impact on both academia and broader human well-being.
