Biography:
Astrid Lucero Malagón Rodríguez is a Clinical Bacteriologist with over 20 years of experience in microbiology and clinical laboratory sciences. She holds specializations in Laboratory Management and Quality Management Systems, as well as a Master’s degree in Microbiology. Currently, she serves as the Quality Management System Coordinator for the Tissue Bank Group at IDCBIS in Bogotá, Colombia. In her role, Astrid is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality standards in tissue processing and preservation, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations. Her expertise contributes significantly to the advancement of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine practices within the institution.
