Growing evidence on interactions between oral and general health has strengthened the role of interdisciplinary approaches in prevention, diagnosis, and patient management. This session explores periodontal-systemic relationships, diabetes, cardiovascular health, pregnancy, nutrition and oral health, medically complex patients, and collaborative approaches connecting dentistry with other healthcare disciplines.
Abstract Scope and Participation
The session invites clinical, epidemiological, translational, and interdisciplinary research examining oral-systemic relationships and integrated patient care. Dentists, physicians, researchers, nutrition professionals, public health specialists, and multidisciplinary teams are encouraged to contribute studies, clinical experiences, and collaborative models of care.
