Biography:
Mauricio Orantes Montes graduated in 2020 with a degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) in Mexico City and completed a one-year stay at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. His work focuses on water management and the development of microalgae-based technologies for wastewater treatment. He have experience in laboratory quality management and polymers, contributing to sustainability and resource efficiency projects. He have worked with the National Water Commission (CONAGUA) in Mexico, co-authoring two articles on watershed management in the Valley of Mexico. He currently pursuing a Master's in Environmental Engineering at UNAM's Institute of Engineering.
