Biography:
Melika Loriamini studied Biology at York University, Canada, and graduated with a B.Sc. in 2019. She was then admitted as a direct entry-level Ph.D. student at the University of Toronto, Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology (LMP) department in 2019 and began her project under the supervision of Dr. Donald R. Branch. She received a Graduate Fellowship Program (GFP) award from Canadian Blood Service (CBS) in 2019 and 2021. In 2022, she was also awarded the AABB Outstanding Abstract Award for Trainees in the Fellow/Post-Doctoral Student category.
