Biography:
Dr. Alain Ponton, graduated in physics at Bordeaux University-France (Ph.D.-physics), now is appointed research director at laboratory ‘’Matière et systèmes complexes’’ (Université Paris Cité et Centre national de la recherche scientifique). His current activity is mainly focused on the science of soft matter with an emphasis on the relation between the mechanical properties and the structure of complex fluids. He has published more than 70 papers in reputed journals and has attended more than 90 conferences. A part of his research activities on complex materials is carried out in collaboration with partners from industry and within international collaborations.
