Biography:
Michał Urbańczyk, PhD, received his doctoral degree in 2018 from the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Metallurgy at the Silesian University of Technology. He currently works as an Area Leader in the Welding Technologies Research Group in the Laser Technology Laboratory at the Lukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Welding. The author and co-author of over 30 projects concerning industrial implementations of laser and hybrid welding technologies. The co-author of 2 patents and 3 patent applications in laser and hybrid welding. The author and co-author of over 20 scientific publications on laser and hybrid welding in reputable journals.
