MATERIALS 2022 was conducted online from March 28–30, 2022, addressing the theme “Sustainable Thriving in a Material Hungry World.” The meeting examined how material innovations and scientific advancements can support long-term sustainability and responsible resource use. The program featured sessions on nanomaterials, biomaterials, polymers, composites, ceramics, metals and alloys, electronic and magnetic materials, optical and quantum materials, energy-focused materials, multifunctional and smart materials, additive manufacturing, surface engineering approaches, characterization techniques, and computational materials design.
