Biography:
Associate Professor Piotr Gebara received his PhD degree in 2012 in Institute of Physics, Jan Długosz University in Czestochowa (Poland). DSc degree received in 2019 in Institute of Physics, Silesian University in Katowice (Poland). He did an internship in Laboratory of Nanomaterials and Applied Magnetism, Institute of Experimental Physics Slovak Academy of Sciences (Kosice, Slovakia, 2016), Institute of Molecular Physics Polish Academy of Sciences (Poznai, Poland, 2017) and Department of Condensed Matter Physics, University of Seville (Seville, Spain, 2018). In 2015, he received scholarship of Slovak Academic Information Agency and Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists. In 2020, he obtained a position of Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, Czestochowa University of Technology. In the years 2019-2024 he was deputy head of the Department of Physics, and since 2024 is Vice-Dean fo Students Affairs. In 2023, Prof. Gebara was mentioned in World’s TOP 2% Scientists 2023 ranking. His published work includes more than 100 papers published in reputable international journals.
