Biography:
Dr. Elizabeth Vinod is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology and Adjunct Scientist at the Centre for Stem Cell Research, Christian Medical College, Vellore. She holds an MD in Physiology and a PhD from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. Her research focuses on cartilage-derived chondroprogenitors, extracellular vesicles, cartilage regeneration, preclinical models of osteoarthritis, and clinically translatable cell-based and cell-free regenerative strategies. She has published extensively in cartilage biology and regenerative medicine and has received the ICRS–Sachdev Translational Innovation Fellowship in 2026.
