Biography:
Cemal Agaoglu is a PhD Candidate in Civil Engineering at Eastern Mediterranean University. The research focuses on developing predictive models for fibre-reinforced self-compacting concrete (FR-SCC) to optimize its application in strengthening corroded reinforced concrete elements. Current work explores iterative and data-driven approaches to predict compressive strength and slump flow in FR-SCC mixes, minimizing the need for experimental adjustments. The study aims to contribute to the advancement of efficient, durable, and sustainable concrete repair and strengthening methodologies through innovative material design and modeling.
