Biography:
Dr. Tshifhiwa Masikhwa is a Senior Scientist at the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa). She earned her BSc at the University of Venda, and Honours, Master’s, and PhD degrees in Physics from University of the Western Cape and University of Pretoria, focusing on materials synthesis for energy storage. She has authored eight first-author publications and co-authored over thirty papers, with an h-index of 10. Her research includes molecular modelling, fluoro-chemicals, and optimized cathode materials. Dr. Masikhwa has presented her work at multiple international conferences and is a recognized leader in materials science.
