Biography:
Dr. V. K. Singh is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (India). He received his M.Tech. degree in 2002 and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 from the same university.
His research interests include the design and synthesis of composite materials and their applications. He has published nearly 120 papers in indexed journals and presented about 30 papers at national and international conferences. He has supervised several theses, served as an evaluator for research projects, and received various prestigious awards at both national and international levels. He is also on the editorial boards of reputed journals.
Since 2003, Professor Singh has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Solid Mechanics, Optimization Techniques, Mechanical Vibrations, and Materials Science. He has developed lecture notes, laboratory manuals, exercise guides, and online courses. He has also served as a mentor for professional practice and postgraduate seminars.
In addition, Professor Singh actively pursues continuous professional development by participating in numerous courses and training programs, particularly in the field of innovation in educational technologies and applied sciences.
