Lasers, Photonics, and Optics Technologies Summit

As a member of the organizing committee, I am pleased to welcome you to the 4th Edition of the European Lasers, Photonics, and Optics Technologies Summit (ELOS 2025), to be held from March 10–12, 2025, in Rome, Italy. There is no doubt that optical technologies, including lasers and photonics, are fundamental to modern human life. Today, we are shifting from expansionism and exploitation to sustainability-oriented development. This transition demands new kinds of science and technology. Optical technology is playing a crucial role in this significant turning point, offering high-performance global communication, large-capacity data management, clean renewable energy, and noninvasive medical tools, among countless other applications. This summit aims to bridge the many gaps that persist between academia and industry, basic science and engineering applications, traditional and new exploratory technologies, Western and Eastern sciences, and more. I am confident that participants will not only gain cutting-edge knowledge in their fields but also deepen their mutual friendships during this meeting. Optics Technology Summit

Dear congress visitors, it is an honor and pleasure to write a few welcome notes. Optoelectronics and nanotechnology today makes unprecedented progress, and Liquid crystal devices (LCD) are used in almost all electronic devices and information systems. This outstanding success was achieved mainly via an enthusiasm of physicists, chemists and engineers who not only studied unique properties of liquid crystals but also thought about their optimization providing technical privileges of liquid crystal devices. Photoalignment and photopatterning materials based on azodye nanolayers can be effectively used in LC alignment and patterning for new generations of LC devices that provide extremely high resolution and optical quality of alignment both in glass and plastic substrates, photonics holes etc. New liquid crystal photonics devices include optically rewritable E-paper, field sequential color ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) projectors, photo- patterned quantum rods and 100% polarizers, q-plates, sensors, switchable lenses, windows with voltage controllable transparency, security films, switchable antennas, light controlling elements in fibers, holographic displays. I wish the Conference to be a success.

4th Edition of the European Lasers, Photonics, and Optics Technologies Summit

Only very rarely in the evolution of human understanding does some outlying natural philosopher come up with a new understanding of the Universe that changes everything about the way that human beings regard themselves and each other. For example, there was Galileo in the late 16^th century. It was not just the Roman Church authorities who regarded Galileo as insane, everybody who was not a serious astronomer did so too. In the case of the new discovery of Quantum Relativity, the equivalent to the serious astronomers of the late 16^th century of 400 years ago, are your community today. Astronomers look deep into outer space, where as in our community we are far more concerned with the space surrounding atoms, but the same logic applies everywhere. The ultra large turns out to be very confusing indeed, where as the space of atoms could not be easier and we have abundant opportunity for exploration. No man will ever leave the Solar System, worrying about beyond the Solar System is frankly absurd. We are all made of atoms and we can almost touch them. Our understanding of Quantum Relativity is held back by a false understanding of so-called negative numbers that has not changed in these last 2,400 years.

Optics Technologies Summit

It is a pleasure for me to welcome this great international conference on the 4th Edition of the European Lasers, Photonics, and Optics Technologies Summit, which will take place during March 20-22, 2025., to the entire community of researchers, scientists, specialists in lasers, photonics, and optics research, as well as all PhD students and professionals on the subject. Since now until the vanguard developments of the future technologies, will be inherent and fundamental all research themes and items related with this special physics of the specialized and vanguards areas opto-electronics, quantum electronics, spintronics, laser physics and engineering, physical optics, plasmonics, positronics, quantum optics, laser cosmology and astrophysics, quantum communication and information, where will be discussed advanced themes on lasers, photonic in all devices, opto-electronics devices and quantum technologies processes, on the way of the future research. These are just some examples of the great applications that will be discussed along with the specialized topics in the advanced optics, such as the different quantum effects (Hall, Kondo, Lenz, etc.) of the different problems derived from electronic phases, light behavior in advanced technological devices, aspects of astrophysics phases in the Universe evolution, nuclear spectroscopy, quantum transitions and optic-materials.

The event is a great and big opportunity to assist to expert talks of connoted keynote speakers, specialized scientists in the lectures and talks, discussion boards, and in a good professional ambient developed in a hybrid way, considering important both versions to acknowledge of all professionals of the lasers, optics and photonics, even in remote situation.
