Biography:
Anand Dev Ranjan is a senior research fellow at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata) in India. His current research interests focus on the study and application of microbubbles produced inside optical tweezers. Anand's research is multidisciplinary, drawing on techniques from physics, chemistry, and biology. Prior to pursuing doctoral studies, Anand was awarded the junior research scholarship by the Government of India. He completed his master's degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Aside from research, Anand enjoys writing poetry and creating music.
