Biography:
Dr. Jamal Zimou is a researcher in materials physics at the Faculty of Sciences of Ibn Tofail University. After obtaining his master's degree in condensed matter physics at Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra, he continued his doctoral studies at Ibn Tofail University, where he defended a thesis on "Development, characterization of thin layers based on cerium dioxide and study of the doping effect by transition metals (Mn, Ni and Co) for energy storage".
His research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of innovative materials, including semiconductor and nanostructured materials, with a particular interest in their applications in renewable energy and energy storage technologies. He has published numerous scientific articles in renowned international journals and has participated in several international conferences in the field of materials science. As a postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Jamal Zimou teaches courses on solid state physics, materials physics, and materials characterization techniques. He also supervises master and doctoral students in their research work.
