Biography:

Dr. Ankita Sharma did her M. Tech in Biotechnology in 2013 and joined CSIR-IGIB, Delhi, India where she worked on projects related to Rheumatoid Arthritis and Coronary Artery Disease. Dr. Sharma completed her Ph.D on the topic of “Development of Alginate based Antimicrobial Hemostatic Dressings” in 2024 and joined the group of Dr. Harun Venkatesan. Now, she is working in biopolymeric shape memory aerogels for infection resistant biomaterials. She has published 15 research articles, 4 book chapters, and 1 patent.
