In recent years, the field of dentistry has made a name for itself by making significant advances in research and putting it into practise. The study of stem cells is the most important ongoing research in regenerative dentistry. Stem cells are undifferentiated cells that can self-renew and produce a variety of cell types in order to replace missing tissues and treat diseases. Stem cells with clinical importance in dentistry have been found as a source and therapeutic target for oral face tissues. Clinical trials using stem cells have resulted from advancements in regenerative medicine.
