Understanding hematopoiesis is essential for diagnosing and treating blood disorders. Stem cell transplantation is a curative therapy for many hematologic diseases. Advances in stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, and gene editing have expanded therapeutic possibilities. Research continues to explore mechanisms regulating stem cell function, improving transplant outcomes, and developing novel regenerative therapies.
