Biography:

Banu Akgun graduated third from the Department of Food Engineering at Middle East Technical University in 2012. She completed my master’s degree on Food Technology and Quality Assurance programme in the University of Reading (UK) between 2013-2014 with a scholarship from Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Education. She has completed Ph.D. programme at the Department of Food Engineering at Yildiz Technical University. She has been working in the Food Additives and Residues Department since 2014. Her areas of expertise include pesticide, acrylamide and adulteration analysis in foods.
