Biography:
Dr Kurek obtained his PhD in Agricultural Sciences in the field of Food Technology and Nutrition at the Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS), Poland in 2023. Currently, he is employed at the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics (Bromatology and Food Toxicology Team) as a specialist at the same institution. He is a co-author of 8 publications (all present in the JCR database). His research interests include metabolic disorders, especially diabetes, and the use of health-promoting properties of bioactive food ingredients in vitro and in vivo models, as well as health promoting potential of edible insects.
