Biography:

Sara Damiano, an Associate Professor of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Naples Federico II since 2022. A biotechnologist (2005) with a PhD in Nephrological Sciences (2010), she is skilled in renal microsurgery and molecular biology. She also earned a Level II Master in Veterinary Phytotherapy (2024), the National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor (2023), and a specialization in laboratory animal science (2009). Her scientific output includes numerous international publications and conference contributions. Her research focuses on environmental contaminants, innovative anticancer therapies, diabetic nephropathy, immunosuppressant‑induced nephrotoxicity, and essential hypertension in animal models.
