Artificial Intelligence refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. It is the foremost important new methodology in scientific research since the adoption of quantum mechanics and it's providing exciting leads to various fields of science and technology.
Categorization of Artificial Intelligence: Artificial intelligence is often divided into two different categories. They are
1. Weak artificial intelligence embodies a system designed to carry out one particular job.
2. Strong artificial intelligence systems are systems that carry on the tasks considered to be human-like.
These tend to be more complex and sophisticated systems. They are programmed to handle situations during which they'll be required to problem solve without having an individual intervene. These sorts of systems are often found in applications like self-driving cars or in hospital operating rooms.
Machine Learning
Machine Learning enables a computer system to form predictions or take some decisions using historical data without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning uses a huge amount of structured and semi-structured data in order that a machine learning model can generate accurate results or give predictions supported on that data.
