Angelo Michele Carella

Biography:

A.M. Carella, after Medicine degree, obtained specialization in Internal Medicine, postgraduate diplomas in Diabetes and Obesity and university Master's Diploma in Healthcare Management. He operates at the Internal Medicine Department of "T. Masselli - Mascia" Hospital in San Severo (Foggia), Italy. He took part, as chairman/speaker, in national and international scientific congresses/meetings and he is member of "Italian Association of Dietetics and clinical nutrition (ADI)" and "Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease Study Group" of EASD. Research areas/field of expertise: Internal medicine; diabetology; nutrition, obesity and metabolism; cardiovascular diseases; oncology. Editorial activity: Editorial Board member/Reviewer of several scientific journals; Author/Co-Author of more than 100 publications scientific journals/conference proceedings (Google Scholar h-index: 6).

Lars Thore Fadnes

University of Bergen, Norway

Biography:

Lars T. Fadnes is a professor at Department of Global Public Health and Primary at the University of Bergen and research group leader at Haukeland university hospital. He is a medical doctor and is a specialist in general practice as well as having a diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene. Fadnes has worked with research on dietary patterns and associations with chronic diseases and has had substantial international collaboration with researchers from the United Kingdom, Uganda, South Africa, Italy, Australia, the United States, with external funding from the Research Council of Norway, the Western Norway Regional Health Authority and DAM. His research spans across several themes, mostly focusing on nutrition and associations to chronic diseases, substance use and migration. Fadnes has more than a hundred scientific publications published in international peer-reviewed journals, as well as being covered in many hundred newspaper stories. He has also been central in development of guidelines both nationally and internationally relating to both nutrition and treatment of people with substance use. He is part of the Norwegian national advisory panel on nutrition (Nasjonalt råd for ernæring) and the Norwegian scientific committee for food and environment (VKM). He has received awards for research and innovation including the Meltzer award for excellence in the dissemination of research (2022), Young researcher award for health research in Western Norway 2021, Falch junior award for medical research 2021, and prize for research and innovation 2020 (Kunnskapskommunene), and has several articles on the Altmetric top rank list. He is the leader of HEMIX research group and Bergen Addiction Research, is co-founder of the Norwegian competence centre for substitution therapy (NORCATS), has supervised/is supervising >15 candidates (including 7 who has completed and 6 as main supervisor).

Iuliana Vintila

Biography:

Vintila Iuliana is actually Associate Professor, PhD in Food Science and Engineering. She is author of 23 books and book chapters in international and national publishing houses (Elsevier, Wiley, Lambert, etc.), first author and co-author for 19 articles in ISI journals and relevant ISI proceedings, 107 BDI scientific papers indexed in recognized international databases, articles presented in national & international conferences and published articles revues. Also, she is member of prestigious international organization such European Federation of Food Science and Technology (2009), Co-Chair (since 2013) and Chair (since 2022) of Nutrition WG in Global Harmonization Initiative, International Society of Food Engineering (2010), Balkan Environmental Association (2008), Global Environmental Standard (GES) Community of Interest (2011), European Academy for Education and Social Research (2012). Malgorzata Mizgier

Biography:

Malgorzata Mizgier is Associate Professor at the Poznan University of Physical Education, Department of Sports Dietetics, Chair of Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences. MSc in Biology at Adam Mickiewicz University and Dietetics at Poznan University of Life Sciences. Ph.D. from the Department of Hygiene and Human Nutrition, Dietetics Division, at Poznan University of Life Sciences. Habilitation at Poznan University of Medical Sciences, in the field of health sciences and medical sciences. The focus of current research includes the influence of diet and physical activity on females with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, menstrual disorders, infertility, and pregnancy.

Yasin Ozdemir

Ataturk Horticultural Central Research Institute, Turkey

Biography:

Assoc. Prof. Yasin Özdemir is an expert in food technology and food science, with a primary focus on fruit and vegetable processing, table olives, olive oil, plant-based foods, and the development of environmentally friendly production techniques. His research integrates product quality, process optimization, and sustainability principles in food systems. He serves as a scientific and editorial board member and reviewer for various international journals and congresses in food and nutrition sciences. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 scientific publications presented at international congresses and published in peer-reviewed journals.
