Diagnostic tests to detect pulmonary disorders may include:
Asthma: FeNo test, Spirometer, Peak Flow test used to help diagnose asthma test.
Chronic Cough: Chest X ray, Radiology test, breathing tests, pH monitoring, upper GI endoscopy and swallow tests are used to diagnose chronic cough.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): Pulmonary(lung) function tests, Chest X-ray, CT scan, Arterial blood gas analysis.
Lung Cancer: Lung cancer is diagnosed with a tissue sample or biopsy to determine the type of cancer. The diagnosis is commonly made by bronchoscopy or needle biopsy.
Lung Nodules: Diagnostic test includes-
