Asthma is a severe chronic condition that affects the air ways. It involves inflammation that makes it difficult to breathe inside the lungs. Asthma symptoms occur when the lining of the airways swell and therefore the muscles around them tighten. Mucus then fills the airways; further reducing the amount of air causing an asthma “attack,” the coughing and tightness in your chest region that’s typical of asthma.

Allergy develops when a person’s body becomes sensitized to a specific substance or condition in which the immune system reacts abnormally to certain foreign substance. Atopy is the genetic tendency to develop the allergic diseases. When atopic people are exposed to allergens they can develops an immune reaction that may leads to allergic inflammation.
