A clinical case report, also known as a medical case report, is a comprehensive analysis of each patient's symptoms, signs, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Case reports frequently describe a unique or novel incident, and as a result, they remain one of the cornerstones of medical advancement, generating a slew of new medical ideas.
“Unique cases that cannot be explained by known diseases or syndromes” is a common description of medical case reports. Case studies furnish comprehensive information about individual disease symptoms and etiological factors, whereas epidemiological studies form wider patterns at a population level by providing information on disease frequency rates and trends that are related to factors such as age, sex, and social aspects of health.
