The pharmaceutical industry is dedicated to ensuring the safety of humanity. As a result, our pharmaceutical industry is carrying forward as usual, manufacturing various pharmaceutical products as well as doing research and development to produce vaccines and other items to tackle the COVID-19 situation. The pharmaceutical industry is currently a relatively strong performer in the global economy, with sectoral activity in the first quarter of 2021 exceeding pre-pandemic levels. The sector's activity was 14.6 percent higher in Q1 2021 than it was at the end of 2019, before the pandemic ravaged economies around the world. This means that, out of the 18 industries studied, the pharmaceutical industry ranks ninth in terms of Covid-19 activity recovery.
