A broad subgroup of medical indicators – that is, objective signals of medical state viewed from outside the patient – that can be assessed correctly and reproducibly is referred to as a "biomarker," a portmanteau of "biological marker." Biomarkers are objective, quantifiable aspects of biological processes by definition. They may or may not correlate with a patient's experience and sense of well-being, and it's possible to conceive measurable biological traits that don't correspond to a patient's clinical state, or whose alterations are undetectable and have no impact on health. Proteins are classified as biomarkers due to their features. One of the most pressing problems in modern society is the discovery of putative biomarkers that can be used as an early diagnostic tool to identify a subgroup of individuals who are at higher risk of developing illnesses. Proteomic methods have brought up new diagnostic opportunities for devastating disorders such as neuropsychiatric disorders. Proteomics-based biomarker identification technologies have shown promise since changes in protein expression, protein abundance, structure, or function can be employed as markers of pathological problems before clinical symptoms appear.
This is to inform that due to some circumstances beyond the organizer control, “Euro Global Conference on Proteomics, Genomics and Bioinformatics” (Proteomics 2023) during September 18-20, 2023 at Valencia, Spain has been postponed. The updated dates and venue will be displayed shortly.
Your registration can be transferred to the next edition, if you have already confirmed your participation at the event.
