Malnutrition

Malnutrition is a disorder that occurs when the body lacks the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients it needs to keep its tissues and organs healthy. People who are either undernourished or overnourished suffer from malnutrition. A number of tests have been created to address this issue on more subjective grounds in order to determine the physiologic and functional consequences of malnutrition and to evaluate the effects of nutritional supplementation. Registered dietitian nutritionists are working hard in health care to increase the speed and accuracy of malnutrition diagnosis and nutrition interventions. Malnutrition is a physical condition characterised by an imbalanced diet. It could indicate malnutrition or overnutrition. When not, enough vital nutrients are taken or when they are eliminated faster than they can be supplied, undernutrition occurs. People who eat too much, consume the wrong things, don't exercise enough, or take too many vitamins or other dietary supplements suffer from overnutrition.
