Child malnutrition remains a major public health issue, especially in developing countries where access to nutritious food and healthcare is limited. Malnutrition can manifest in various forms, including stunting, wasting, and micronutrient deficiencies, all of which negatively impact a child’s physical and cognitive development. The early years of a child’s life are critical for development, and poor nutrition during this period can have long-term consequences, including reduced academic performance and increased vulnerability to chronic diseases. Nutritional interventions, such as promoting exclusive breastfeeding, providing fortified foods, and improving access to healthcare, are essential for addressing child malnutrition. Ongoing research seeks to understand the most effective strategies for preventing and treating malnutrition in children.
